Chitin
Part typing game, part auto-runner, part bullet-hell, part comic. May contain moths.
Story parts that I didn't have time to make comic pages for: You play as a Moth, a native to the caves of a hollow planet. Unexpected visitors land their ships deep within the caverns, discovering you and the precious natural resources present within the stone. In short time, you are imprisoned and a facility erected to manage extraction and exfiltration of the minerals. In a routine check-in, you make your daring escape...
Controls: Single-button game. Click, tap, use a controller button, or use any key. You may need to click inside the game window for inputs to register.
Made in 6 days as a dual submission for the 1 Button Jam 2024 and the Furry Game Jam #0 - I did not view the themes or begin work until both had started, and stopped work when the shorter of the two ended.
Themes Used:
Furry Jam - Escape
1 Button Jam - Terrarium-like level visuals inspired by "Dome" + Moth (of course!)

I love the interpretation of endless runner taps and holds as morse code, it's such a simple yet intuative idea!
Also the artwork is so distinct, incredibly evocative!
Ohhh what an wesome game!
Loved everything! The unique morse-code fighting / dogding mechanic, the regaining health aspect, the music is thrilling and liked the drawings very much! :D
